Privacy notice
How Blue Haven Financial Advisory collects, uses, and retains personal data. Last updated 4 August 2026.
1. Data controller
Blue Haven Financial Advisory is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website and collected during advice engagements. Contact: hello@cybersecurity-dataplatform.digital, 73326 Beth Freeway, West Gusikowski Court, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, +44-7-612-3916.
2. Data we collect
Via the contact form we collect your name, email address, preferred call window, consultation interest, and message content. During an engagement we may collect identity details, financial statements, pension information, and correspondence necessary to deliver regulated advice. Essential technical data such as cookie preferences may also be stored locally in your browser.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request (legitimate interests and, where applicable, steps prior to a contract). Engagement data is processed to perform the advice contract and to meet regulatory record-keeping duties. Optional analytics cookies run only with consent.
4. Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become clients are retained for up to 24 months. Client advice files are retained for at least the period required by UK financial services regulations (typically a minimum of five years after the end of the advice relationship, and longer where pension transfer or other specific rules apply). Cookie preference keys remain until you clear local storage.
5. Sharing
We share data with IT hosting providers who process it under contract, with your accountant or solicitor when you ask us to, and with regulators when legally required. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
If a processor stores data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses approved for UK transfers.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing the stored preference and revisiting the site. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
8. Related policies
