Fees

How Blue Haven charges for advice

Fees are fixed or quoted after a free discovery call. We do not earn commission on recommended products. The figures below are guidance; your letter of engagement states the exact amount before paid work starts.

Consultation Typical fee basis Guidance
Comprehensive Financial Planning Review Fixed fee for a two-adult household From £1,850
Pension Consolidation Review Fixed fee for up to four schemes From £950
Investment Portfolio Second Opinion Fixed fee by portfolio size From £720
Business Owner Cashflow & Exit Planning Scoped quote after discovery Typically £1,200–£3,500

What influences the final figure

Complexity — not asset size alone — drives the fee. Multiple defined benefit schemes, overseas property, shareholder agreements, or trusts require more reading time and sometimes a specialist introduction. Straightforward ISA and workplace pension holdings sit at the lower end of each range.

Deposits and timing

A 40% deposit is payable when you accept the letter of engagement. The balance is due on delivery of the recommendation letter. Discovery calls remain free and carry no obligation.

What we do not charge

There is no ongoing percentage fee for advice-only engagements unless you separately request annual reviews. Annual review retainers, when agreed, are billed as a fixed yearly amount stated in a fresh engagement letter.
